Pesarapappu charu/Moong dal rasam


Ingredients

Yellow Moong Dal/Pesara pappu - 1 cup
Onions - 3
Tomato-1
Green chillies-3
lemon juice(From 2 lemons)
chilli powder- 1tsp
turmeric a pinch
coriander leaves
Water
salt
oil

For seasoning

Urad dal-1tsp
Chana dal-1tsp
Mustard seeds-1tsp
Jeera-1tsp
Garlic pods-4
curry leaves


Method of preparation

1)Pressure cook the Moong dal for 3 whistles.Let it cool and make paste in blender.
2)Heat 2tsp of oil in a pan add the seasoning.Then add onions,green chillies,tomato,turmeric and fry for a while.Add some water and bring to boil.
3)Finally add the blended Moong dal,salt and red chilli powder.Cook for 10 more min.
4)Turn off the heat and add the lemon juice and coriander leaves.
->You can add veggies to it.
