Pappu chekka/chikki


Peanuts-2 cups
Jagerry crushed-1.5 cups
Sugar-1/4 cup
Cardamom/elaichi powder-1tsp
water-1/4 cup
Ghee-1/2 tsp

Method of preparation

1)Take a pan and dry roast the peanuts.Let it cool and remove the skin.
2)Take another pan add sugar,jagerry and 1/4 cup water and stir well.Take some water in a plate and drop the sugar syrup we should be able to form a ball from it.
3)Add cardamom powder,peanuts to the jagerry syrup and stir well.
4)Grease a plate with ghee and drop peanut mixture to it.Let it cool and cut it in to small pieces.
