Coconut Dosa


Urad Dal/Minapappu-1 cup
Rice-2 cups
Coconut milk-1.5 cups
Grated fresh Coconut-3/4 cup

Method of preparation

1)Soak urad dal and rice separately for 6 hours.
2)Blend them in to smooth batter.Ferment the batter overnight.
3)Add the coconut milk,1/2 cup grated coconut and salt to the batter.
4)Heat the dosa tawa and grease it with some oil.Take a laddle full of dosa batter drop it on tawa.Spread it in circular motions to make dosa.Drizzle few drops of oil on the edges of dosa.
5)Sprinkle some grated coconut on top.
6)Serve it hot with any chutney or podi.
