Caramel Cake



Ingredients

All purpose flour/Maida-1 cup
Sugar-1 cup
Baking powder-1tsp
Vanilla Essence-1tsp
Butter-1/4 cup
Eggs-2
Milk-1/2 cup
Warm water-2tsp

Method of preparation

1)Take a pan add 1/4 cup of sugar to it.caramelize it by Stirring it without adding any water.After it is done add 2tsp of warm water to it and keep it aside to cool it.
2)Preheat the oven to 350F heat.
3)Blend butter and remaining sugar till foamy.Add Eggs to it and beat again.
4)Add baking powder,vanilla essence and 3tsp of caramelized sugar to it.Add flour and milk alternatively to it and keep whisking.
5)Grease a cake pan and pour the batter to it.
6)Bake it in oven for 20-25 minutes.
7)Insert a tooth pick in to it and check if the cake is done.It should come out clear.
