Spicy Egg Pulav


Basmati Rice/Long grain Rice-2.5 cups
onion- 1 Big
Tomato-1 Big
green chillies-4
cinnamon stick-1 small
cardamon - 2
Bay leaf-2
Ginger and garlic paste-2 tsp
coriander powder-2tsp
Cumin powder-1tsp
Garam Masala-1tsp
Red chilli powder-1 tsp
mint leaves-1/2 bunch
coriander leaves-1 bunch
Turmeric-a pinch

Method of preparation

1)Boil the eggs remove the shell and keep aside.
2)Soak the rice for 30 mins.
3)Take a pan add ghee and 1tsp of oil.After it is hot add the cloves,cinnamon,cardamon,bay leaf,mint leaves,turmeric,coriander leaves,onions,green chillies and fry till the onions are golden brown.
4)Add ginger garlic paste and fry for a minute.Now add the tomatoes,coriander powder,cumin powder,garam masala,red chilli powder,salt and cook for 5 minutes.
5)Add 1tsp of oil in a pan and fry the boiled eggs till golden brown and keep aside.
6)Add drained rice to it.Add 3.5 cups of water and cook it in electric rice cooker.
7)When the rice is 3/4th done add fried eggs and cover the lid.
8)After the rice is done add some lemon juice and coriander leaves.
9)Serve hot with raita.
