Jilledu Kayalu


Rice Flour-1 cup
Coconut-1/2 cup
Jagerry-1/2 cup
Cardamon Powder-1/2 tsp

Method of preparation

1)Mix riceflour with water,2tsp ghee and make it in to stiff dough.
2)Take a pan add jagerry to it when it melts completely add grated coconut,Cardamon Powder to it and mix well.Stir it till it becomes thick.Turn off the heat.
3)Make coconut mixture in to small balls.

4)Take the rice flour dough make lemon size balls from it.Press it with your hand like a small chapathi.Place the coconut ball mixture in to it.

5)Fold it in to a ball by closing the coconut ball by rice flour dough just like shown in above picture.Make jilledu kayalu shape from it..
6)Grease the idli plate with some ghee.Place these in the idli stand and cook them on steam just like idlis for 10 minutes.

7)Let them cool for 15 minutes and serve them.
