Aratikaya Perugu pachadi/plantain curd chutney



Ingredients
Raw plantain/kura aratikaya-1
Green chillies-2
Red chillies-2
Tamarind Pulp- 1/2 tsp
Garlic pods-3
Jeera-1tsp
curd-1/4cup
salt
oil

For Tampering

Chana Dal- 1tsp
Urad Dal-1 tsp
Mustard seeds-1tsp
curry leaves
Turmeric-a pinch

Method of preparation

1)Heat 1 tsp of oil in a pan.Add red chillies,green chillies,garlic pods,jeera and fry for a minute and keep aside.
2)Cut Plantain,aratikaya in to slices and boil them till soft.

3)Peel the skin of plantain and mash it.
4)Blend the roasted green chillies,red chillies,garlic,jeera.Add the mashed banana,salt and curd.
4)Heat 1tsp of oil in a pan and do seasoning with chana dal,urad dal,mustard seeds,turmeic,curry leaves.
5)It goes well with hot rice and a gallop of ghee.
->My grandma used to add curd just before we eat chutney so that it will be spicy...
