Aratikaya Kobbari iguru/Plantain coconut fry
Raw plantain/kura aratikaya-1
Chana Dal- 1tsp
Urad Dal-1 tsp
Red chilli Powder-1tsp
Method of preparation
1)Peel the banana with a peeler.Cut it in to small pieces.
2)Heat 1tsp of oil in a pan and do seasoning with chana dal,urad dal,mustard seeds,jeera,turmeic,garlic pods and curry leaves.
3)When mustard,jeera starts to splutter add the banana pieces to it.Fry till they are cooked.Add salt and red chilli powder to it.
4)Add fresh grated coconut to it and stir for 2-3 minutes.
5)Serve it with hot rice as a side dish along with sambar/rasam.
