Rava Idli


Sooji/Ravva-2 cups
Curd-2 cups
Baking soda-a pinch
Green chillies-3
Ginger chopped finely-1tsp

For seasoning

Mustard seeds - 2tsp
Urad dal-2tsp
Chana dal-2tsp
curry leaves

1)Heat a tsp of oil in a pan and do the seasoning with mustard seeds,urad dal,chana dal,curry leaves.Add chopped ginger and green chillies and fry for a minute.
2)Add sooji to the seasoning and mix well.I fried for 2 minutes and turned off the heat.
3)Add curd,soda to it and leave the batter for 30 minutes.
4)Grease idly plates,pour the batter and steam it.
5)I served it with palli putnalu chutney.
