Potato Capsicum Curry


Potatoes-2 Big
Capsicum-1 Big
Onion-1 small
Gingergarlic paste-1tsp
Red chilli powder-1tsp
Turmeric - apinch

For seasoning

Mustard seeds - 1tsp
Urad dal-1tsp
Chana dal-1tsp
curry leaves

Method of preparation

1)Boil the potatoes and peel the skin.Cut in to medium size pieces.
2)Chop the capsicum in to big pieces.
3)Heat a tsp of oil in a pan and when it is hot do the seasoning with mustard seeds,urad dal,chana dal,turmeric,curry leaves.
4)Add chopped onions and fry till light brown.Add gingergarlic paste and fry for 1 more minute.
5)Add chopped capsicum and fry till it is tender.Add potatoes,jeera powder,red chilli powder,salt and fry for 3 more minutes.
6)Serve it hot with rice or rotis.
