Pepper Tomato Rasam


Pepper-3 tsp
Rasam powder-1tsp
Tamarind pulp-1tsp
turmeric-a pinch
coriander leaves

For seasoning

Mustard seeds - 1tsp
Urad dal-1tsp
Chana dal-1tsp
curry leaves

Method of Preparation

1)Microwave tomato in a bowl for 5 minutes.squeeze it with hand.
2)Microwave 2 cups of water for 5 minutes and keep aside.
3)Take a deep bottomed pan add water,squeezed tomatoes,tamarindpulp,salt,turmeric,rasam powder,pepper powder,coriander leaves and bring it to boil.Turn off the heat and keep it aside.
4)Heat a tsp of oil in other pan and do the seasoning for rasam with mustard seeds,urad dal,chana dal,curry leaves.
