Nethi Beerakaya pachadi/Silk Squash chutney


Nethi Beerakaya/Silk Squash-1
Garlic-3 pods
Green chillies-4
Tamarind pulp-1tsp

For seasoning

Mustard seeds - 1tsp
Urad dal-1tsp
Chana dal-1tsp
Turmeric-a pinch
curry leaves

Method of preparation

1)Peel the skin of silksquash and cut it in to small pieces.
2)Heat 1tsp of oil in a pan add green chillies,squash pieces,garlic pods and cook for 4 minutes.
3)Add chopped tomato,salt,tamarind pulp and cook till the mixture is cooked well.
4)Add a tsp of jeera and blend it in to a smooth paste.
5)Heat a tsp of oil in another pan and do the seasoning with mustard seeds,urad dal,chana dal,turmeric,curry leaves.
6)Serve it with hot rice.
