Mexican squash chutney




Ingredients

Mexican Sqush-2
Tomato -1
jeera-1tsp
Garlic pods-2
Tamarind pulp-1tsp
Green chillies-3
Salt
oil

For seasoning

Mustard seeds - 1tsp
Urad dal-1tsp
Chana dal-1tsp
Turmeric-a pinch
curry leaves

Method of preparation

1)Peel and cut the squash to small pieces.
2)Heat a tsp of oil in a pan add green chillies.Add squash and cook for 5 minutes.
3)Add chopped tomato,garlic pods and fry till it is well cooked.
4)Add jeera,salt,turmeric pulp and cook for 2 more minutes.
5)I smashed it with a spatula in to coarse paste.
6)Heat a tsp of oil in other pan and do the seasoning with mustard seeds,urad dal,chana dal,turmeric,curry leaves.
7)Serve it with hot rice.
