Toor dal-1 cup
Mustard seeds - 1tsp
Method of preparation
1)Wash and pressure cook the toor dal for 3 whistles.
2)Heat a tsp of oil in a pan and add mustard seeds,urad dal,chana dal,turmeric,curry leaves.When the mustard seeds starts to splutter add the chopped onions,green chillies.
3)when the onions are light brown add the cabbage and cook for 10 minutes.When the cabbage is completely cooked add salt,red chilli powder,cooked toor dal and cook for 5 more minutes.
4)Add the coriander leaves and lemon juice.
5)Serve it hot with rice or rotis.
