cooked rice- cups chana dal-1/4 cup urad dal-3tsp peanuts-1/2 cup mustard seeds-1/2 tsp green chillies-3 ginger-small piece tamarind pulp(thick)-1/2 cup turmeric-1 tsp curry leaves-2 springs salt-to taste oil-5 tsp
Method of preparation
1)Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds.After they pop add chana dal,urad dal,chopped ginger,turmeric,split green chillies,peanuts,curry leaves. 2)After the dals are golden brown add the tamarind pulp,salt to it.And cook for 5 more minutes. 3)Add the paste to the cooked rice and mix well.
